Dollywood Christmas: Aunt Jeane's Birthday, Dec. 28, 2014

It was like we had the park to ourselves. It was in the mid50s and the forecast called for rain, lots of it. There was drizzle early in the day when we got there around noontime and toward the end when we were getting ready to leave at about 8:30. Most people stayed away, to our advantage. Not much of a wait time for most of the rollercoasters. These are the pics of that awesome day (with limited commentary, this time.)

A statue of a boy (not pictured) chasing a dog chasing a cat chasing a Squirrel. Squirrel looks very self-assured in its wisdom that it will survive:

The entrance to The Blazing Fury, an indoor rollercoaster. It seems kind of lame now. This was the first rollercoaster I rode way (way, way, way, way) back when I was 12 years old:

This was so beautiful with the white parts being animated icicles dripping:

The entrance to the Dolly Museum:

Dolly's Aunt Dora pieced together this quilt consisting of samples from every dress Dolly wore on stage during her 1974 tour. This is in the Dolly Museum:
